Our colors do not lighten the hair but instead can add tones and depth to your already Dark color.

Here are some tips on the different effects and colors you can work with to get a natural, good looking shade without the chemicals.

 

*Please note our colors are not suitable for people who wish to lighten or bleach thier hair in the future or before grow out. If you are unsure or think you may want to go blonde in the future we suggest you find another hair coloring alternative.

Important tip

  • Chemically treated and damaged hair may take the color differently to usual. We recommend you first perform a strand test to determine desired processing time and final color result.

You can work with what you have got and acheive fabulous results until the lighter color grows out.

2. Even all over color

You can color your hair to acheive an even all over color.

 

*We recommend a strand test to determine desired processing time and final color result. Chemically treated & bleached hair may uptake the color more than usual.

 

Here are some options:

  1. First choose the even all over color you would like. Click here for color descriptions. **You will need to choose a colour that is similar or darker than your natural regrowth. 

  2. To acheive an even color you will need to use a red base colour on the light ends to create a foundation for the darker color. Click here for details

  3. Once you have applied your red base you can then apply your chosen shade evenly to your hair following instructions in the pack .      

 

 

Please note: red base application is suitable for medium to dark brown Desert Shadow colors only.
